We continue where we left off, pretending to be Jesus twittering to his tweets 140 characters at a time. So far we have made it through his first ten messages. Today we'll pick up at 11 - 15, numbering them for our convenience.

11. Building a House? Choose a firm foundation! Rock. If you opt for sand, beware! When times get tough, when the rains come, when the winds blow, you’ll wish you had chosen rock.

12. Healing: Many people need healing: lepers, the paralyzed, the demonic, the blind, those of impure hearts. It’s time to send my tweets – I mean my disciples – out to help. Those who can’t be cured can still be healed.

13. Chill Out. I told a crowd today that anyone who did the will of God is my mother, my brother, my sister. They gasped in shock. How dare I deny my bloodlines! I spoke metaphorically, but if I offended anyone I’m sorry. We are all God’s children. Chill Out.

14. Gardening tip: If you want your seeds to grow healthy, where would you plant them? In rocky soil? In weedy or thorny soil? Or in good soil? Seems pretty obvious, doesn’t it?

15. Definition of Expert: An “expert” is anybody who comes from more than 50 miles from your hometown. My people in my hometown of Nazareth reject me. I understand, though. They know me too well. Who am I? What can I possibly know? I’d reject me, too.
