Reverend Thomas F. O'Donnell, Esq. is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ serving Plymouth Bethesda UCC in Utica, New York. Before heading off to Colgate Rochester Divinity School to obtain his Masters in Divinity, he earned a Masters Degree in Education from Cleveland State University and a Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University College of Law. On his way to his present position in the church, he has been an educator, an attorney in private practice, and a corporate bank counsel.
In addition to his pastoral responsibilities at Plymouth Bethesda and his writing, Reverend O'Donnell is reaching out to Christians and non-Christians alike throughout the world over his website, www.ReclaimJesus.net. At the website are posted 95 Theses for the 21st century, together with on-going interactive conversations through blogging on the hot-button social, cultural, political, and theological issues of the day. Podcasts of his weekly messages are also available at the site and over i-Tunes. His first book, Mainlining Christianity: 95 Theses for the 21st Century, challenges moderate and liberal Christians everywhere to reclaim Jesus by speaking up and speaking out against the misleading message of the evangelical Christian right.
